The first light of advent is the light of the stones. The light that shines in crystals, in seashells and in bones.Advent Verse: The gift of light we thankfully take, But it shall not be alone for our sake. The more we give light, the one to the other It shines and it spreads and it glows still further Until every heart, by love set aflame, In every place great joy shall proclaim. Not long shall continue the darkness of year, Light draws near.
