StanHack

This spring on the weekend of 4/25 – 4/27, STEM CRU / ASPIRE is co-hosting a Hackathon and would like to invite you to join us. One doesn’t need to be a part of the ASPIRE program to participate so team up with coding friends.This coding competition emphasizes teamwork, cooperation, and dedication to produce a tech project like a website or app in the span of around 36 hours. Our pre-determined tracks help the teams focus on what community-based improvements these innovations might be designed for, after a little brainstorming and planning. We have workshops to teach coding skills on Friday (4/25) night. The registration link is:

The flyer is below with information about this fun event. We are co-sponsoring with the City of Turlock and Bay Valley Tech with support from TID and other companies.

Parking: Lot 11

When: 4/25 @ 4:00pm – 10:00pm, 4/26 on your own, 4/27 @ 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Who: Participants must be 18 or older, we welcome individuals of all skill levels to join us.

Cost: Its Free!

Deadline: Register by April 11 @ 11:59pm 

Please sign up ASAP as space is limited – the first 30 signups to enter the competition receive a free USB drive on 4/25.

There will be a mixer after the kickoff for those individuals who aren’t part of a team yet. Tracks will be posted in our Discord the day before kickoff. The workshops are only on Friday night and Saturday you are on your own to work on your coding. The final project must be submitted to our Devpost by 12pm on Sunday 4/27. Prizes for the winning teams determined by our judging panel.
