SHEET MASK | Neogen Surmedic Vital Collagen Mask
Press sampleThis month is already whizzing by! How is it already almost the middle of December?! Like WTH! I have A LOT going on this month which I will be sharing on social media as it involves my passion project Pelegrims, but I am also attempting one last surge of blog posts for 2024. Last month was an all-time low for me in terms of content on all fronts as I focused more on Pelegrims and work (and also had no nails to speak of), but this month I have nails again and I really would like to have some Christmas content out!Today's sheet mask review features well-known Korean skincare brand Neogen known for its more "serious" take on skincare with a more derm/medical approach. With these masks, I tend to really pay attention to what the masks are supposed to do and the featured ingredients are generally in higher concentrations. What makes this mask special? This mask contains brightening niacinamide and beta glucan and hydrolyzed collagen all in the top half of the ingredients list. The fit of the mask was decent with a few stiffer wrinkles I could not work out. The main thing I did not like was the scent as it quite overwhelming at the beginning.Mask Summary:Price: $5 USDWhat it does: Firms, tightens, revitalizes sagging skin (yes, please!)Scent: Powdery floralEssence Type: Milky, but watery Duration: 30 minutes (I don't think I was supposed to leave it on this long, but it totally made it!)Thickness: ThinMask Fit: Pretty good with a few stiffer wrinkles I couldn't quite smooth outTackiness: Light/mediumHydration: I did put Pelegrims Facial Balm over top as I have been very dryOther notes: N/AFinal verdict: It paired nicely with the Pelegrims Facial Balm which is much heavier texture and I had this amazing glow afterwards! Though I could have done without the powdery scent overall the mask was good with solid ingredients.Hmmm, I am not sure if you can find this anymore as I originally picked it up from YesStyle!
