Picture Perfect Puppies

The puppies are 5 weeks and 2 days today. They are old enough to start being interested in toys now. The celebrated Memorial Day with some new patriotic toys.

It is so much fun to watch them begin retrieving. They discover the fun of trotting around carrying these toys (and also sink their teeth into something that is fine).

The puppies are also wanting to try their teeth out, so we are now beginning to teach them what things are ok to bite and hands are not. These babies still want to kiss (taste?) more often than chew though. Overwhelmingly cute.
