OCEANCO APPROACHES CUSTOM DIFFERENTLY

Oceanco only builds custom yachts, but that doesn’t mean it takes a standard approach. Over the years of delivering some of the world’s most remarkable yachts, its team has learned how owners’ motivations and needs vary. By understanding how each client wants to experience their yacht through her build as well as after delivery, the company is focused on tailoring this journey for maximum enjoyment throughout.

To reflect a new evolution in this approach, Oceanco is redefining its range of custom yacht solutions: From the more streamlined Simply Custom, to delivering your complete vision through Full Custom, to tackling what others deem impossible with Beyond Custom. And Oceanco remains by your side for the duration with Life Cycle Support, to provide for future maintenance, upgrades and even rebuilds. So what defines these different offerings, and why do they resonate with yacht owners so well?

SIMPLY CUSTOM

We take care of the details so you can focus on the fun

In a world where demands on time and attention pull us in countless directions, often the most valuable experiences simplify life rather than add complexity. That is why Oceanco offers a way to build your custom yacht that guarantees its outstanding pedigree while streamlining the process. You are free to simply spend time making decisions on what matters most to you, while leaving the rest to the experts.

Oceanco Custom Offerings (0:39)

Available from 80m (262ft) in length, or 2,500-2,700GT, the technical foundation of Simply Custom delivers the flexibility to include what most excites and inspires you, alongside the exceptional technical standards and collaborative approach for which Oceanco is known. It features a state-of-the-art, all-electrical propulsion and energy architecture system, and is optimized to the most demanding operating profiles.

FULL CUSTOM

Realizing your vision to build an icon

When you have a vision for a yacht that is yours and yours alone, Full Custom is perfectly positioned to realize that dream because “different” is in the builder’s DNA. Oceanco’s reputation for technical excellence and a collaborative approach, combined with proven technologies, result in its Full Custom yachts.

STAR

Oceanco partners with creative minds from inside and outside the industry to imagine yachts that are simultaneously visionary and practically achievable. Inspired by evolving lifestyle values and emerging technologies, Oceanco sees these designs as a viable vision of what a yacht could be and the freedom it could provide, when executed at the highest possible level.

BEYOND CUSTOM

Impossible is where we begin

Opening a whole new realm of possibilities, Beyond Custom is for the boldest of owners—the rebels and the rule-breakers, the creatives and the innovators—who are looking to harness bleeding-edge technologies to push boundaries with their pioneering yachts. They are driven to go far beyond what has come before. To mark the official launch of Beyond Custom, Oceanco is unveiling Mobula, a head-turning design from Bozca Limitless Design.

KAIROS

Inspired by the beauty and fluidity of marine life, the extraordinary multihull Mobula from Bozca Limitless Design, takes its name from the graceful mobula ray. Its sleek, flowing lines mirror the elegance of the ray as it moves through the water, while the design reflects a harmony with oceanic forms.

Influenced by modern architecture, Mobula combines minimalist elements with futuristic touches. Large, open spaces, clean lines, and expansive glass surfaces help guests feel connected to their surroundings. The multihull design not only increases space, but also offers superior stability for a more comfortable experience. Its shallow draft allows access to more remote locations and improves fuel efficiency, supporting sustainability goals.

“Together with Oceanco, we’re focused on minimizing Mobula’s environmental footprint,” says Bozca. “It’s designed for both off-grid adventures and glamorous destinations like the Mediterranean, where its futuristic design will certainly turn heads.”

LIFE CYCLE SUPPORT

What if your yacht evolves with you?

Life Cycle Support provides a full spectrum of services to respect, preserve and renew existing yachts, giving them a new lease of life that is aligned not only with how we live today, but how we will be living tomorrow. It exists to support and enhance every single stage of a yacht’s life cycle.

With experience on some of the most challenging and innovative yacht construction projects in the world, Oceanco is not fazed by major upgrades or lifetime extensions. Its construction facilities are able to handle significant structural and technical works, so every yacht can continue to evolve and modernize as new technologies come on stream – and even become more sustainable in the process.

Earlier this year, Oceanco delivered H3 as one of its most significant Life Cycle Support undertakings to date. The 105m (345ft) motoryacht underwent a transformation that was practically unprecedented in its scale and nature; more than a rebuild or a refit, it was a rebirth. H3 displays a modern, yet timeless exterior aesthetic, including a completely new superstructure alongside a fresh interior by Reymond Langton Design. Due to her new Tier III compliant set-up that reduces emissions—particularly of nitrous oxide, a powerful greenhouse gas—H3’s operational footprint has been reduced by at least 60 percent. And when using an alternative fuel such as HVO, with its associated lower CO2 emissions, her operational footprint is reduced by almost 90 percent compared to before her rebuild.

Antos

Continuing to inspire new applications of Life Cycle Support, this September Oceanco has partnered on the world debut of Antos. She is the first yacht to be revealed under Mario Biferali’s fresh approach to transforming large commercial vessel into yachts, providing them with a new identity and purpose.

Antos is a revolutionary 150m (492ft) design with a colossal displacement of 10,630GT. The epitome of refined minimalism, the yacht displays a simplicity and purity much like that seen in post-industrialist architecture on land.

“Antos is a creative solution that reflects what a growing number of owners are looking for in their yachts: something that can adapt to the demands of private life, family time, remote work, philanthropy and adventure. Named after the ancient Greek word for ‘flower’, Antos embodies a new beginning for this converted vessel; a fresh shoot of life that gracefully conquers the sea,” says Biferali.
