MINING giant Kansanshi Mine PLC says it will spend as much as K3.4 million on this year’s edition of the hugely popular Kansanshi Marathon set for Solwezi this May.
And Absa Bank Zambia has weighed in with a sponsorship of $10, 000 (about K278, 000) towards Zambia’s biggest marathon.
Announcing the package at a Press conference in Solwezi for this year’s event, Kansanshi Mine General Manager, Meiring Burger said the mine company would also include purchasing state-of-the-art timing equipment valued at over K700, 000.
