Preparing a cocktail with Juliette liqueur is a delicious and elegant way to welcome holiday guests to your home with some of the ambiance of southeast France. This relatively new peach liqueur is made with intensely flavored heirloom peaches grown in the Rhone Valley.
If you like the exquisite taste of fresh summer peaches at the peak of their ripeness and favor Bellini cocktails, you’ll especially enjoy Juliette. For me, tasting the liqueur was love at first sip, better than a Bellini.
A Unique Liqueur Fully Rooted in France

France is the fourth largest peach-producing country, growing an estimated 105,000 tons of fresh peaches in 2022.
“Peaches of the grapevine” (peches de vigne), the special variety of peaches used to produce Juliette, have been cultivated in France for centuries.
Harvested in July, these exceptional peaches are known for their juiciness, sweetness, and unique flavor profile, often compared to the taste of ripe white peaches and raspberries. They are only harvested in July.
The name of the peaches derives from the tradition of planting aromatic fruits at the end of rows of vineyards to warn of mildew attacking the grapes. Juliette comes from the French name for the summer month when the peaches are hand-picked.
Made with 100% natural ingredients, the liqueur is produced in small batches in southwestern France, near Bordeaux. Juliette calls itself “the only ultra-premium, artisanal, heirloom peach liqueur.”
Its distinctive and eminently giftable Art Deco-style bottle is also rooted in French style and design.
How To Drink Juliette Liqueur
Juliette is versatile and easy to serve. This sophisticated libation can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail. When we opened a bottle, we were struck by the captivating scent of fresh peaches with floral aromas.
Because we generally prefer champagne and Prosecco cocktails, after tasting a sip neat, we made our first cocktails using a recipe similar to the one we use for a Bellini. Substituting the Juliette for peach puree made the drink taste crisper. It’s a wonderful aperitif.

You can try the interesting recipes below, but Juliette is an excellent ingredient in your home bar that can turn you into a cocktail mixologist.
Juliette Signature Cocktail: Juliette et Champagne
The Juliette and Champagne Signature Cocktail is easy to make and turns any occasion into a celebration.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz Juliette Liqueur
- 5 oz Champagne Brut
Method:
- Stir ingredients
- Serve chilled in your favorite flute or champagne glass
Avoir La Peche Cocktail
The Avoir La Peche Cocktail offers fresh peach notes balanced by squeezed lemons and bitters. Champagne adds a touch of bubbles to the rose-glow drink. The French expression “Avoir la Peche” means “have the peach” or stay in high spirits.
Ingredients:
- .75 oz Juliette Liqueur
- .75 oz dry vermouth
- .75 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 dashes Peychaud’s bitters
- Brut Champagne
Method:
- Combine the Juliette, vermouth, lemon juice, and bitters with ice
- Shake until cold.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass and top with Champagne
- Garnish with Lemon peel
Ephemere Cocktail
The curious name of this creative Ephemere Cocktail comes from the term “ephemere,” which means “short-lived” in French. Perhaps, it’s because the French peaches used for Juliette Liqueur are only in season for a very short time. My husband enjoys Tequila and citrus, so he especially likes this cocktail.
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz cinnamon-infused Tequila Blanco
- .75 oz Juliette liqueur
- .75 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- .25 oz fresh grapefruit juice
- .25 oz simple syrup
- .25 oz whole milk
- 2 dashes of saline solution
Method:
- Combine all ingredients with ice and shake until cold
- Double strain over large cubed ice into an old-fashioned glass
- Note: The tequila infusion has to be prepared the night before. Simply place five broken cinnamon sticks into 8 oz of tequila and let it stand overnight
