GelTangle = Gel Print + Zentangle

Neutrals are where it’s at, am I right? Lately, I used a multitude of vibrant eye-catching colors. So it was refreshing to return to neutrals and gold. You gotta love gold!

Add fierce messaging with Note To Self sentiment strips painted with gold. Postal Memory Washi Tape is chock-full of neutral tickets and stamps that coordinate well with the gel print.

On a two-page journal spread, I tie elements from one page to the next. In this case, the color palette is the same, but in different ratios. In addition, the circles of the Zentangle pattern are represented by gold alcohol ink dots and circles.

Those large gold circles were screaming for flower doodles. And of course there’s never enough gold, so I grabbed some gilded washi tape and got to work.
