Florida Georgia Weekend Returns to Downtown Jacksonville

The iconic rivalry between the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs is coming back to Downtown Jacksonville! In preparation for the Florida vs. Georgia game, Downtown Jacksonville has plenty of activities happening before, during and after the game to celebrate one of the longest college football rivalries!

The Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldog rivalry spans across many years. The rivalry began in the early 1900s and the two teams have been playing against each other since 1926. The annual game between Florida and Georgia has been held in Jacksonville since 1933. Florida vs. Georgia games taking place in Downtown Jacksonville, a baseball game on Friday, November 1st and a football game on Saturday, November 2nd.

The Florida vs. Georgia baseball game is happening on Friday, November 1st and taking place at 121 Financial Ballpark. The game begins at 5:30 p.m.!

The Florida vs. Georgia football game is happening on Saturday, November 2nd and taking place at Everbank Stadium. Come early to join in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party fun with the many tailgaters surrounding the stadium. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m.

Utilize JTA’s Gameday Express transportation for the Florida vs. Georgia game on Saturday, October 28th! JTA’s Gameday Express offers roundtrip services and begins at 12:30 p.m. Passes are $10 per person and will be running before and after the game.

The JTA Skyway will be running all weekend long! The rides are free and offer various drop-off spots in Downtown Jacksonville. A few stations offer parking if you’d like to park and then ride the Skyway. 

St. Johns River Taxi

Take the scenic route to Florida vs. Georgia game by riding on the St. Johns River Taxi. The St. Johns River Taxi loops every 30-40 minutes and offers roundtrip wristbands with purchase before the event.
