Expert Input Welcome for 2025/2026 Edition of 10 New Insights in Climate Science

The 10 New Insights in Climate Science series is an annual effort of science synthesis and science communication aimed at highlighting key recent advances in climate change research with policy relevance. This science-policy report is shared with all Party delegations and launched ahead of or at the UNFCCC COP. Its main objective is to equip negotiators, policymakers and other decision-makers with an updated understanding to make sense of and confront the climate emergency. This is a joint initiative of Future Earth and The Earth League

To inform this work, we gather expert input from a wide range of disciplines and regional perspectives across the international research networks of the partner organizations and beyond.

We invite your contribution: If you are a researcher working on topics related to climate change, we encourage you to fill out this brief questionnaire to share what are key recent developments in climate change research that should be brought to the attention of negotiators and policymakers. Through this questionnaire, you can also indicate your interest in contributing as a co-author of the report and the supporting peer-reviewed paper.

This call for input is open until January 31, 2025.
