Creating a “Teachers Favorite Things” Form: A Guide for Schools

Teachers Favorite Things

In any educational community, recognizing and appreciating the hard work of teachers is essential. One great way to show appreciation is by understanding and celebrating their favorite things. By creating a “Teachers Favorite Things” form, schools can easily gather and share this information with parents and student supporters. This helps in personalizing gifts and tokens of appreciation throughout the school year. Many PTSO and PTO organizations love to help generate this as an easy way to gather a list of teachers’ favorite things to send out to all the families and students’ supporters with ease, especially for those families that have more than one child at school.

Please note that teachers do not ask for gifts or things, but if a student supporter wants a favorites list to give the best gift they can, even a kind note, we can make this easy on them. This is also a great way to include all staff members so other staff members can give a kind gift as well. My school does a fun thing where each teacher can get the name of another teacher to support through the year, and this list will work for that as well.

Additionally, I love that this is a free Google Form that can be used digitally to get a digital download. You can access the list of teacher favorites whenever you want to with ease.
