"Through the generosity of our donor-advised fundholders and funds raised from the Community Connections grantmaking publication, the community contributed more than $98k," the Community Foundation of Abilene shared.
The recipients of the Fall 2024 community grant cycle are as follows:

- Abilene Philharmonic Association – Abilene Youth Orchestra program support
- Abilene Recovery Council – Parenting Awareness and Drug Risk Education Services (PADRES)
- All For One Missions International – Food pantry support
- All Kind Animal Initiative – Support for marketing and communications director
- American Red Cross – Home fire relief
- Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star – High school bigs
- Big Country Court Appointed Special Advocates, Inc. – Advocate training support
- Boys & Girls Club of Abilene – Youth program support
- Camp Able – Program support for horse care and therapeutic riding
- Center for Contemporary Arts – ArtWalk program support
