Celebrating 30 Years of Service

It was celebration time at Mercian Labels again last week as the whole team gathered to recognise an amazing 30 Years of Service from our fantastic colleague Ali Witton.

Ali (also known colloquially as the ‘Boss’) started with us in 1994 when we were a much smaller team, operating from a site in Pinfold Lane, Penkridge and has supported the whole team in numerous roles as the business has evolved and grown over the last 3 decades.

Working in a number of roles throughout the business including Sales Administration, Account Management, Quality, Finance, Production Management, Scheduling and her current role in Procurement, Ali has a fantastic wealth of knowledge and experience and is able to support colleagues from just about any area of the business.

In her current role as Supply Chain Manager, Ali makes sure that the materials we use are the best on offer, meet our strict quality criteria and are ready and waiting when the presses are ready to roll.

To celebrate such a momentous occasion, the whole team surprised Ali with flowers, a cake and some gifts from the business to commemorate this very special day, before enjoying a celebratory lunch together.
