To highlight how an Epson digital colour label printer can enhance vaping products, AM Labels exhibited a range of ColorWorks printers at the Vaper Expo UK Show 2024. AM Labels demonstrated the recently launched Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer alongside the smaller C4000 and C6000 models.
The bi-annual Vaper Expo UK Show, which took place from 25th to the 27th of October at the NEC in Birmingham, hosted over 300 exhibitors who showcased their offerings to visitors. The first day of the exhibition was open to trade only, including retailers, manufacturers, suppliers and distributors, while members of the public could visit over the weekend.
On stand S13, visitors had the opportunity to see the new Epson ColorWorks C8000 industrial colour label printer in action. The AM Labels team were on hand to provide live demonstrations and answer any questions. The C8000 boasts print speeds of up to 300 mm per second, at a resolution of 600 x 1200 dpi, and is compatible with a wide variety of materials, including matte and gloss paper, and synthetic label materials. The new ColorWorks printer offers enhanced print quality, which allows for the production of vibrant, high gloss images, and increased flexibility with the introduction of a one inch (25 mm) print width, which is ideal for e-liquid bottles.
AM Labels also exhibited the Epson C4000 from the renowned ColorWorks range. The compact C4000 Series, which is available as a matte ink version (CW-C4000eMK) or a gloss ink version (CW-C4000eBK), is designed to be durable and intuitive, allowing users the option to print high quality labels via a tablet. The Epson C4000 colour label printer is easy to integrate and connect with existing workflows, in addition to offering wireless connectivity to provide users with increased levels of flexibility. Combining a resolution of up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, improved colour matching functionality and maximum print speeds of up to four inches per second, the versatile printers can produce crisp, photo-quality labels, on-demand.
Also displayed on the AM Labels stand was the Epson ColorWorks C6000 colour label printer. Available with either an auto-cutter or a timesaving, auto-peeler that automatically removes the backing paper. The C6000 also boasts a compact four inch print width with the capability of printing full-colour labels as small as 25.4 mm wide. Furthermore, the C6000 printers deliver excellent, high quality print aided by the PrecisionCore TFP technology, which ensures that the print is crisp and sharp. It also comes complete with an integrated, moveable sensor, which facilitates printing on any label shape.
