A Nordhavn Succession story

The outgoing Nordhavn 63 Asturias sat side-by-side with her big sister, Nordhavn 80#4 – the soon-to-be newly coronated Asturias – this morning at North Palm Beach Marina in what had to be an exciting but bittersweet moment for the owners. The owners purchased N63#12 back in 2017 and have spent 7 wonderful years cruising her up and down the east coast and throughout the Caribbean. Their 63 has entertained a host of celebrations and family holidays, and the owners were even able to generate a successful charter business with their yacht when they were not using her.

But the N63 Asturias has been on the brokerage market the past year to make way for the new Asturias, an astounding brand new Nordhavn 80, which they will take delivery of in March. Last month, the N63 went under agreement and earlier this week the sale closed. It comes just as the owners are getting ready to christen their new yacht. They’ll jump aboard the N80 Asturias for handover, shakedown and maiden voyage to the Bahamas.
